From a restaurant kitchen to the coffee shop counter, Honey Run was born out of necessity—and love for a really good bite.
Founded by pastry chef Sarah in 2014, Honey Run began behind the scenes of a busy Hollywood kitchen. Tired of relying on sugary pastries to power her early mornings, Sarah developed a granola recipe with an “impractical” amount of nuts and seeds, baked in a golden glaze of honey and brown butter. The result? A craveable, feel-good recipe that quickly caught the attention of staff and customers alike.
As the Third Wave coffee movement took over Los Angeles, so did Honey Run—appearing atop parfaits at the city’s best cafés and earning a loyal following of breakfast lovers, bakers, and baristas.
Today, Honey Run’s bars and granola blends remain true to their roots: deeply satisfying, thoughtfully crafted, and made to bring a little comfort and a lot of flavor to everyday rituals.
